Moraira used to be an old fishing town but has grown into a popular holiday destination over the last couple of years but the town has managed to keep the Spanish style of living. There are several beaches found along the coastal road between Moraira and Calpe where you can enjoy a day in the sun, go snorkelling and at some of them you can enjoy a day of windsurfing. In the town you will find many different restaurants where they serve both national and international food. Shops and bars are also found along the town boulevard. The larger supermarkets are found on the outskirts of the town. There are several different golf course and tennis courts found in the area as well.
